I relocated to sunny Cape Coral FL in 2019 to pursue my dream
of becoming a full time artist, I was born and raised in the suburbs of
Chicago IL. Art has been my passion since childhood, I have many fond
memories of spending time with my mother creating all sorts of fun arts and craft projects
together. I spent thirty years as a professional hairstylist in Naperville IL. After
moving I became a member of the Cape Coral and Fort Myers Art League
where I have been featured in many art shows and a solo show. I am self
taught and have had many mentors over the years that helped shape me into the
artist I am today. You will not find much repetition in my work because that
would be boring and not adventurous enough, it takes courage to explore and
put yourself out there for all to see. I've won numerous awards over the years
for my still-life, landscape, abstract, and rubber ducky paintings. I was
chosen by the city of Cape Coral to do an installation of my ducky’s on an
electrical box to help beautify the downtown area and it even survived hurricane
Ian. All my paintings are done in either oil or acrylic/mixed media and I have
done many commissions from pets, flowers, landscapes, homes, and wildlife.
I could not imagine a life without a paint brush in hand I hopes you enjoy the view.
